First,toprovidetheContractorwiththeconformedconstructioncontractforexecution.Second, tomakeintroductionsbetweenallthepartiesinvolvedwiththeproject.Third,todiscuss preliminariessuchaspotentialdaysoftheweekandtimesforweeklymeetingsandadateand timetoholdtheofficialPreͲConMeeting.PriortotheCOVIDͲ19pandemic,thismeetingwas typicallyheldinpersonatRentonCityHall.SinceCOVIDͲ19,thesemeetingshavebeenconduction onͲline.Forthisproject,itmaybeeitherorsomecombinationthereof. x PreͲConMeeting–ThisistheofficialPreconstructionMeetingfortheproject.Typically,the Contractor,ConstructionManagementTeam,DesignEngineeringSupportTeamand EnvironmentalSupportTeamattendthismeeting.Theprimarypurposeistodiscussandsettle preliminarymatters,projectschedule,weeklymeetingschedule,invoicecutoffdate,submittals plusanyothertopicdeemedimportantforconstruction.PriortotheCOVIDͲ19pandemic,this meetingwastypicallyheldinpersonatRentonCityHall.SinceCOVIDͲ19,thesemeetingshave beenconductiononͲline.Forthisproject,itmaybeeitherorsomecombinationthereof. x WeeklyMeetings–TheCITYandContractorwillholdweeklymeetingsforthedurationof construction.TheConstructionManagementTeam,DesignEngineeringSupportTeamand EnvironmentalSupportTeamareanticipatedtoroutinelyattendthesemeetings.Estimate12 weeklymeetings. x Sitevisitsduringconstruction–Shouldweeklymeetingsoccurinperson,theCONSULTANTmay decidetovisitthesiteandobservetheconstructionprogress.Itisassumedthatthismayoccur immediatelyfollowingtheweeklymeeting.Estimate6sitevisits. x SpecificsitevisitsrequestedbytheCITYͲTheCONSULTANTmaybeaskedbytheCITYtoperform specificsitevisitstoobserveanddiscussspecificissue(s)raisedbytheContractorduring construction.Thisrequestwillmostlikelyoccurataweeklymeeting,ifatall.Uponcompletionof thesitevisit,theCONSULTANTwillprepareandprovidearecordofthesitevisittotheCITY.This recordshouldaddresswho(whoconductedthesitevisit),what(issuetobeobservedand/or discussed),where(specificlocationoftheissue),when(dateandtime),why(thepurposeofthe Page8of11 sitevisit),observationsmadeandanydirectionsgiventowardsresolvingtheissue.The requirementforasummaryofthesitevisitdoesnotapplytoroutinesitevisitsconductedto observeconstructionprogress.Estimate3specificsitevisits.
