ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW COMMITTEE AND PUBLIC HEARING
RENTON, WASHINGTON

AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Environmental Review Committee has issued a Determination of Non-Significance Mitigated
(DNS-M) for the following project under the authority of the Renton municipal code.
VIA 405 Apartments
LUA17-000237
Location: 25 S Grady Way. The applicant is requesting Preliminary Planned Urban Development approval for the
construction of an 8-story mixed use development that will include 270 multi-family dwelling units, ground floor
commercial and residential amenity, structured parking, pedestrian improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and
stream buffer restoration. The site's existing 42,700 square foot movie theater building will be removed.
Appeals of the DNS-M must be filed in writing on or before 5:00 p.m. on September 01, 2017. Appeals must be
filed in writing together with the required fee with: Hearing Examiner c/o City Clerk, City of Renton, 1055 South
Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057. Appeals to the Hearing Examiner are governed by RMC 4-8-110 and more
information may be obtained from the Renton City Clerk's Office, 425-430-6510.
A Public Hearing will be held by the Hearing Examiner in the Council Chambers, City Hall, on September 26, 2017 at
11:00 am to consider the submitted application. If the DNS-M is appealed, the appeal will be heard as part of this
public hearing. Interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing.
