Subject:SAY NO to Retail Sales of Puppy Mill Puppies
Hello Ms. Marshall,
I am writing to appeal to your sense of responsibility to the people of Renton regarding the retail sales of puppy mill puppies in our City. It
is outrageous to see what corporate power brokers will do for money, in this case the exploitation of helpless animals bred for profit. I urge
you and the City of Renton Planning Commission to say NO to any entity that wishes to sell dogs bred in puppy mills here in the City of
Renton.
I have seen the outcome of the disgusting and inhumane treatment of dogs bred for outrageous profit. Those who survive may suffer
lifelong social, physical and behavioral problems borne of negligence and abuse at the hands of these corporate breeders. Unsuspecting
clients of puppy mill breeders/sellers are as much the victims as the animals themselves.
The Planning Commission should have no hesitation in saying NO to them. The buck has to stop right here, right now.
