Subject:Ban the Sale of Puppies in Pet Stores!
Hello City of Renton representatives!
As a homeowner in Renton, I love to see the ongoing investments in the community, from bike lanes to park upgrades.
To continue making Renton a better place, we must prohibit existing businesses from selling puppies. The evidence
overwhelmingly shows why these stores are bad for puppies and bad for the community. Furthermore, you only need to
walk near the puppy store on Rainier Ave to witness their shady business practices firsthand. From their obscure
business name, to banning all photos in/outside of the store it is clear they are not acting in an ethical manner.
Please, for the puppies and the people prohibit businesses from selling puppies. If future businesses are not allowed to
sell puppies there is no good reason to allow the existing ones to continue operating.
