Mr. Mayor, Renton City Council, & Ms. Marshall:
Renton boasts about being “ahead of the curve” yet by allowing the sale of puppy mill puppies we are, in fact, BEHIND
the times.
From conversations I’ve had with the community, Rentonites want a compassionate city. Rentonites want places like
Puppyland out of business, or at the very least not associated with our city. It’s embarrassing. It’s a tarnish on our city to
allow such business to live here. Are we going to be a place that continues to support cruelty or are we going to be a
place that stands up for the voiceless?
Please, I urge the City of Renton to pass a humane ordinance NOW.
