Dear Commissioners,
I fully support a ban on selling puppy mill puppies. I agree with the points made by Ashly Dale at Bailing Out Benji:
“Puppy mills exploit innocent animals by forcing dogs to breed continuously and then ignoring their medical, social, and
physical needs.” Dale said the puppies born at these “factory farms” are taken from their mothers as early as four weeks
and can carry contagious diseases or suffer from congenital defects due to overbreeding.

The puppy mill industry is grossly under-regulated and rife with unscrupulous people looking to turn a quick buck. This
should not be condoned by the City of Renton.
