NOTICE OF APPLICATION
RENTON, WASHINGTON
Notice is hereby given that the City of Renton has accepted the foll owing proposal for review:
Surface Water Design Manual Update
LUA22-000146, ECF
Location: Citywide. The applicant is requesting Environmental (SEPA) Review for the following non-project item:
#D-208-This update is driven by the requirement to adopt a manual equivalent to the 2019 Ecology Stormwater
Management Manual for Western Washington. In the last update, Renton adopted the King County Stormwater
Design Manual with amendments. Because the current updates are not substantial, the updates will be directly to
our manual rather than adopting a new manual and amending it. An example of the updates is to define duplexes
as single-family and clarifying which types of stormwater facilities are prohibited within aquifer protection areas.
Comments on the above application must be submitted in writing by 5:00 PM on May 12, 2022. Please submit
comments online at https://cutt.ly/SQvBak4. Alternatively, you may physically mail your comments to: City of
Renton, CED, Attn: Planning Division, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057. Please include the Land Use file
number (LUA) or project address in your comments. Anyone who submits written com ments will automatically
become a party of record and will be notified of any decision on this project.
