Attending: Daryl Delaurenti, Maryann DiPasquale, Amy Elizabeth Gorton, Jessica Kelly, Rhea
Kimble, Lynne King, Colleen Lenahansen, Staci VanderPol, and Elizabeth Stewart.
Call to Order Information
President Jessica Kelly called the Zoom meeting to order at 5:37 PM.
News, Updates, Correspondence Information
Museum Director Liz Stewart reported on museum operations. She presented an overview of
the City of Renton’s reopening requirements and that the City will provide another update later
in the month. Liz then reviewed grants that the Museum received over the past few months,
including an award from the Eda and Teresa Pozzobon Fund.
Review and approval of minutes Action Item
Minutes for the November and December meetings were approved.
Work session Action Items
(1) Committee Reports (Vice President): Executive, Finance, Board Development and Ad
Hoc HR did not have any updates. The Outreach Committee informed the Board they
will have an email communications plan to present next meeting. The Events and
Fundraising Committee provided an updated on SalsaLab Training and also informed
the Board about an upcoming Bouquet Fundraiser. The Ad Hoc Collections
Committee provided an update which included the concern about finding a climate
control spaced that also included air conditioning.
(2) New Committee (President): Jessica informed the Board about the need for a new
Ad Hoc Bylaws Committee. Staci, Jessica and Daryl volunteered.
(3) SalsaLab Update (Vice President): Jessica, Colleen and all museum staff participated
in a SalsaLab training and updated the Board that the new system is working well so
far.
(4) SBA Loan Update (President): Jessica provided an update that the loan has been
forgiven in full.
(5) Board Insurance (President): Liz will follow up with more information regarding our
insurance limits and will connect Staci with Ruth .
Mission Moment & Nonprofit Moment Information
Liz presented to the Board the Mission Moment which included a discussion about a brain
injury exhibit and making other groups feel included.

Jessica presented to the Board the Nonprofit Moment which included a discussion about the
role of Directors versus Trustees.
