2. REMOVE EXISTING SITE STRUCTURES. REFER TO ARCH DWGS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
3. COORDINATE ELECTRICAL DEMO WITH SCL. PROVIDE TEMPORARY POWER AS REQUIRED.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL IDENTIFY THE CONSTRUCTION EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL LEAD (CESCL) FOR THE PROJECT.
5. ALL DISTURBED LANDSCAPED AREAS SHALL BE AMENDED WITH SOIL IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY OF RENTON REQUIREMENTS.
THIS SHALL CONSIST OF A MINIMUM OF 6" OF COMPOST AMENDED TOPSOIL AND TILLED TO 12" MINIMUM DEPTH.
6. PRESERVE AND PROTECT ALL UTILITIES AND SURFACE IMPROVEMENTS NOT INDICATED FOR REMOVAL. SAWCUT ALL SURFACING AND
IMPROVEMENTS TO BE REMOVED AT LIMITS OF REMOVAL.
7. ALL LOCATIONS OF EXISTING UTILITIES SHOWN HEREON HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED BY FIELD SURVEY OR OBTAINED FROM AVAILABLE
RECORDS AND SHOULD THEREFORE BE CONSIDERED APPROXIMATE ONLY AND NOT NECESSARILY COMPLETE. IT IS THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY THE ACCURACY OF ALL UTILITY LOCATIONS SHOWN AND FURTHER
DISCOVER AND AVOID ANY OTHER UTILITIES NOT SHOWN HEREON WHICH MAY BE AFFECTED BY THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS
PLAN.
8. COORDINATE EXTENTS OF PAVING DEMOLITION WITH PROPOSED PAVING, UTILITY, AND GRADING PLANS. STAGE DEMOLITION TO
PROVIDE ADEQUATE HARD SURFACE WORK PAD AND LAYOUT AREAS OR PROVIDE TEMPORARY PAVING OR GRAVEL SURFACING AS
NECESSARY.
9. COORDINATE ALL UTILITY DEMOLITION WITH CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SYSTEMS AND PROVIDE TEMPORARY BYPASS AND PUMPING
SYSTEMS AS REQUIRED BY CONTRACTORS OPERATIONS.
10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE SUMPS, PUMPS, AND STORMWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND CONSTRUCT INTERCEPTOR
SWALES NECESSARY FOR DEWATERING. NUMBER AND LOCATION OF SYSTEMS TO BE AS REQUIRED BY CONTRACTOR'S
OPERATIONS AND SEQUENCING.
11. THE EROSION CONTROL MEASURES SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS ARE CONSIDERED A MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL MEASURES
WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROTECT ADJACENT PROPERTIES, INCLUDING THE ROW, THE DOWNSTREAM SYSTEM AND RECEIVING
WATERS.
12. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE ALL NECESSARY PERMITS FOR WORK WITHIN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.
CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE
1. CONSTRUCT STABILIZED CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE AS REQUIRED. ADJUST AND MAINTAIN AS NECESSARY TO ACCOMMODATE
CONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS.
2. INSTALL AND/OR MAINTAIN FILTER FABRIC FENCING AND TREE PROTECTION FENCING. REMOVE OR RELOCATE FILTER FABRIC
FENCING AS REQUIRED FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION.
3. PROVIDE SEDIMENDATION TANKS AS NECESSARY FOR SITE DEWATERING AND PROVIDE TREATMENT FACILITIES TO MEET AGENCY
PERMITTING REQUIREMENTS. OBTAIN REQUIRED PERMITS FOR DISPOSAL.
4. DEMO EXISTING IMPROVEMENTS AND CLEAR AREAS NECESSARY TO ACCOMODATE NEW CONSTRUCTION. PROTECT ANY
CLEARING DEBRIS STOCKPILED ON THE SITE WITH PLASTIC COVERING OR APPROVED COVER.
5. EXCAVATE AND GRADE AREAS NECESSARY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW IMPROVEMENTS. PROTECT ANY EXCAVATION SPOILS
STOCKPILED ON THE SITE WITH PLASTIC COVERING. PROPERLY DISPOSE OF ANY SOILS NOT TO BE REUSED OR IF THERE IS
NOT ADEQUATE AREAS ON -SITE FOR STOCKPILING DURING CONSTRUCTION.
6. CONSTRUCT UTILITIES AND NEW IMPROVEMENTS AND UPGRADE TESC FACILITIES AS NEEDED.
7. IMMEDIATELY STABILIZE EXPOSED BACKFILLED AREAS WITH MULCH OR PERMANENT RESTORATION PLANTING.
8. UPON COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTING IMPROVEMENTS INSTALL PERMANENT PLANTING AND REMOVE EROSION CONTROL BMPS.
9. PROVIDE COMPOST AMENDENDMENTS TO SOIL IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY OF RENTON REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO
RESTORATION.
