The limited authorization to proceed issued October 16, 2015 (below) is hereby amended to include:
1. channelization work necessary in order for the closure/detour to go into effect.
2. water well testing to determine dewatering requirements.
As previously indicated, the full Notice to Proceed will be issued later and it will establish the NTP date upon which the
counting of contract working days will begin.

Subject: Logan Avenue North CAG 15-134 Limited Notice to Proceed (NTP)
The City of Renton has formally entered into a contract with Johansen Excavating Inc. (JEI) for the Logan Avenue North
Project, CAG 15-134. This notice will serve as JEI’s “limited” authorization to proceed and is limited to the potholing
effort specific to the water main line to be installed on North 4th Street. Please see the two suggested potholing
locations attached and respond with your proposed potholing approach; notification of two business days is required
prior to the potholing activity.
The full Notice to Proceed will be issued later and it will establish the NTP date upon which the counting of contract
working days will begin.
