proclamation by Mayor Pavone was read declaring June
2022 to be LGBTQIA+ Pride Month in the City of Renton,
encouraging all residents to join in this special observance
and recognize the numerous contributions of LGBTQIA+
individuals in the City. Alex Shockey, of Valley Medical
Center, accepted the proclamation with appreciation.

Department recommended pooling one hundred percent
(100%) of Senate House Bill (SHB) 1490 sales tax credit
funds with South King Housing and Homelessness Partners
(SKHPP) under the existing 2021 interlocal agreement
CAG-21-177; and requested authorization to provide an
update and recommendation to Council by June 15, 2024
on continued pooling of funds for 2025 and beyond.
