ADJOURNMENT MINUTES FIREFIGHTERS’ PENSION BOARD CITY OF RENTON November 18, 2021 ________________________________________________________________________ Armondo Pavone, Mayor Jason Seth, City Clerk Ray Barilleaux, Fire Department Representative Kari Roller, Finance Administrator Sean Hollingsworth, Finance Representative ________________________________________________________________________ The regular meeting of the Firefighters’ Pension Board was called to order by City Clerk Jason Seth, at 2:06 p.m. via videoconference. In attendance were Armondo Pavone, Mayor; City Clerk Jason Seth; and Fire Department Representative Ray Barilleaux. Additionally, Kari Roller, Finance Administrator and Sean Hollingsworth, Finance Department Representative, were in attendance. MINUTES APPROVAL MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY PAVONE, THE PENSION BOARD APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE SEPTEMBER 23, 2021 MEETING. CARRIED. MONTHLY STATEMENT The September 2021 financial report was reviewed. Total cash/investment balance was, as of September 30, 2021, $8,086,548.36. MONTHLY BILLS AND PENSION PAYMENTS MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY PAVONE, THE BOARD APPROVE THE PENSION/MEDICAL PAYMENTS OF $18,943.66 FOR OCTOBER 2021, AND $18,943.66 FOR NOVEMBER 2021, TO BE PAID BY THE FIREFIGHTERS’ PENSION FUND. CARRIED. NEW BUSINESS City Clerk Seth noted that Bruce Phillips has resigned and will not be eligible for re-election to the board for the 2022-2023 term. He also noted that the Renton Regional Fire Authority is soliciting nominees to fill the vacancy, and will hold an election prior to the end of the year.
