Here is what I got from the WSDOT director. So why should I believe you? Maybe you can put this into your file about Wolf Woods because Renton is part of the problem and Wolf Woods is going to be a big project; I have already sent a complaint into DOE. I don't believe that WSDOT will do anything on MP 15 either-- but I need to speak up when I see that water could be impacting our property and May Creek. The map I saw shows construction beyond 148th. Later this summer, I will hopefully be testifying and will be sure to mention Renton's and WSDOT's lack of help in protecting our property and May Creek. Have a good day. Good morning Ms. Donnelly, Thank you for that additional background. We are gathering/confirming information about the noise variance notice you mentioned and any other projects planned on SR900 in the vicinity of MP15. We will respond soon. Your email has been included in the official project file and you have been made a party of record. The City of Renton is scheduled to hold the public hearing for this noise variance on July 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Please find attached notice of the public hearing with information on how to join the virtual public hearing. Please note that WSDOT has indicated that their project will be repairing the damaged pavement on SR 900 from mile post (MP) 13.10-14.40 as a result of the winter weather conditions. No widening or repairs on SR 900 are proposed around MP 15. Thank you for your interest in this land use application. This picture was taken on December 3, 2021. The water comes from King County roads, and the county park on the opposite corner. Renton roads and the detention pond at Windstone also contribute to our problem. The water goes into the drainage ditch on 148th and goes about 500 feet down the ditch to NE 17th St. where it goes under 148th back to Greenes Stream where it starts its journey to May Creek. KC Roads came out and fixed the gully, but we still get the water — along with the sediment going through our yard to May Creek. We also get the stormwater runoff at MP 15 — going straight down through the Wolf’s property and then through ours to May Creek. King County officials — along with Renton officials don’t seem to care about protecting downstream property owner’s property. Have a good day.
