I hope all is well with you and yours?
Judith Subia and Jason, I would appreciate it if you would assist me by distributing this document, along with this
email text below, within the ** ** to the Mayor and Council members for the City Council meeting tonight, May
2nd 2021, and any other mentioned involved parties?
I don't know if they receive said documents as digital files? If they receive them as actual physical documents, I
would appreciate it if all images/pictures were in color.

**The attached article, which includes a link to the report and picture, shows a fire that erupted at an Li-ion BESS in
Australia, newly constructed, as recently as July 2021.
Note that this BESS is not on-top of, within 50' of a residential community such as the one proposed behind our
homes on SE 5th St.
All of the systems shown are in ISOLATED locations.
Also, the fire testing that is mentioned, performed on Powerpack battery pods, they are precursors to the Megapacks
now in use, that are 16 times the size and power of the Powerpack, they were not attached to or functioning within a
grid-scale, on-line BESS.
