THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
Grading North:
Upon our arrival at 10:45am, we observed the contractor was aerating the northern fill areas, including the bus loop road. CDC
compacted the fill areas with a large, single drum, vibratory roller, including the bus loop road. The moisture contents in the southern
area ranged from 10.2% to 12.8% with compaction tests results typically in the low 90% range. Some slight yielding underfoot in a
few places was still observed. We discussed that a second lift could be placed since there was still 4 feet of fill needed to achieve
grade and some areas were landscaping. Prior to our departure, CDC started placing a second lift with material that was staged on
the gravel road to the south. With high temperatures predicted for this weekend Jerry Jr. had his crew start to aerate the material in-
place again with plans for us to return at 9am tomorrow (Saturday) to check compaction. CDC continued to use their pull-behind disc
to aerate the soil.

Aerating Northern Portion of Bus Loop Road:
Aerated and re-compacted soils along the western margin of the bus loop road were in a firm and unyielding condition. We informed
Jerry that they could place another lift of soil to dry in the road area. The current grade along the outside of the road is approximately
2 feet low.
