Thank you for your initial comments related to the Blue Origin DaVinci Building project (LUA22-000197) wherein you are
requesting to add dewatering protocols if dewatering occurs during soil removal and construction. In addition, you are
requesting to add mitigation measures due to the potential to encounter soil and groundwater contamination.
Furthermore, you raised concerns regarding potential petroleum-contaminated soil (PCS) in shallow groundwater on the
project site and the potential for site contamination with heavy metals due to the old Asarco smelter in north Tacoma.
Your email and letter have both been included in the official project file and you have been made a party of record.
