Renton needs additional supplies of subsidized, income-qualified housing for very low-and extremely low-income households. There are diverse needs for housing-related support in Renton that extend beyond housing production and vary across groups in the community. King County Countywide Planning Policies growth targets allocate 17,0000 housing unit to Renton by 2044.
