present except for A�ni Mungra, wh❑ had c�ntacted Roberta �ra�er tv report her absence. Cynthia Burns made a
motion to excuse A�ni Mungra; Marlene Winter secanded, all were in fa�vr, motion carried. Troy officialEy handed
over the chair responsibilities to newEy appvinted MarEene Winter.

Cynthia Burns made a mativn, seconded by Tim 5earing to appro�e the agenda as presented; all were in fa�or, mot�vn
carried, the agenda was approved.

Larry Reymann made a mvtion to approve the May 9, ��17 minutes as written; AI Dieckman seconded. all were in
favvr, motion carried, the agenda was appro�ed.

Benson Hi11 – Cvmmunity Plan AdUisary Board �BNCPABj-- Gynthia shared that City of Renton Neighborhood Program
�vordinator Drey Hicks� shared at the 5/13/17 BHCPAB meeting, and recammends he come share at Park Board. Talk
pvints at the meeting invvlved 115t" Ave. imprvvements, new businesses going into the Fred Meyer Sh�pping Center,
and a demanstration of ��R Maps and the Capital �ampaign for the �Daug 6aldwin} Family First �enter. Tray
suggested that the infa Paul Hintz �CED� shared at that meeting be forwarded out to the Park Board.

walking tvur vf the May �reek Park, in response tv negative citizen response tv alleged excessive and i�legal garbage in
the park. Cai�in wi[I ac�ompany Marlene and athers on June 16t". Larry sugg�sted having Burke Museum staff �curatar}
��me share curated informati�n ab�ut the May �reek area at a future Park Board meeting.

Nlaplewvod G�If C�urse – Doug Mi�ls, G�lf Course Manager shared statist�cs abaut the winter, spring, and current
business totals. Prolonged wEnter resulted in being down 5,��� rounds, but with recent govd weather, business is
rebvunding. Impro�ement prajects �ontinue e�en one that invol�es innvWative techniques with year round divvt
maintenance. 5ummer �unior camps are papular, they held a Pro Am event - fir5t in 4� years - w�th 7Z seni�rs
participating, and a new E-marketing �ampaign t❑ promvte open tee-times is shflwing success.
Custer Ncrming Request – �iscussion and questions circulated about why the fami�y chose the Recreatian Center, are
there �ther buildings�locativns are a�ailable for naming, the criteria that naming seleetions are based on, hvw �ague
the naming policy is, and cvnsiderations of finding something that afigned tv his passions to name. Clarification of the
pvlicy was requested. Kelly affered to discuss the matter with the mayar per the next step as the board was stiil in
d�scussion o�erthe matter, and has nvtcometo a recommendationyet.
