Subject: Community Outreach Meeting
We, as the development group wish to invite the recipient of this letter to join us remotely for an
on line meeting via the provided video conference URL for a brief project presentation followed
by an informal dialogue for the purpose of gaining insight into community impressions of the
project proposal.
The intent of this meeting is to facilitate an informal discussion between the project developer
and the neighbors regarding the project. While required by the City of Renton, this meeting is
not conducted by the City of Renton and is in addition to any future public hearing or public
comment opportunities available under City of Renton development review processes.
Project Description
The site is on Logan Avenue N. just east of the Renton Memorial Stadium. It is a long flat
rectangular site that is currently vacant and was originally Burlington Northern railway ROW.
Our proposal is to build a new mixed use building with 100 apartment units situated over
commercial space and below building parking. The site lends itself to double loaded units with
lots of window space to take advantage of the surrounding territorial outlooks. 25% of the units
will be allocated for senior housing. The roof level will house generous common amenity areas
with a roof terrace open area including landscaping, barbecue facilities, and sitting areas.
The Building is comprised of two 6 story wings connected by a covered public plaza linking two
ground level commercial areas. Upper level units will bridge across the large open span.
Below building parking access will be taken from N 3rd St. and building service areas will be
approached from N 4th St.

The goal of the meeting is to have a dialogue with the local community to gain insight as to how
the project can best meet the needs of the neighborhood and gain an understanding of special
area qualities to be preserved or enhanced and any issues to be focused on as the project
advances. This is the first of many administrative and public reviews stages to occur as we
move forward and tonights input will prove to be particularly helpful as we navigate these
processes.
The meeting will begin with a 5 minute Project introduction describing a brief history of the site,
zoning considerations, and location relevant to the surrounding neighborhood.
The meeting will continue with a 15 minute Project Design Presentation that will discus the
scope of the project and include architectural plans and elevations.
Guests will be "muted" during the initial brief presentations.
Please note the meeting will be recorded for future reference (voice and texts).
After the presentations all guests will be "unmuted" and have the opportunity to comment or ask
questions by "hand raising" (see hand icon at the center bottom of the screen). Questions can
also be entered via the text chat option (see text bubble at lower right corner of the screen).
For effectiveness, please wait for the host to acknowledge your "hand raise" before speaking.
When not speaking it is advisable to keep yourself "muted" to avoid background noise. You may
"un-mute" yourself to speak when the host acknowledges you by your name or sign-in ID.
Comments and questions will be answered in order received until the meeting session times out
at 7:00 pm.
