2.COORDINATE WORK WITH OTHER TRADES AS REQUIRED. DETERMINE
LOCATION OF UNDERGROUND UTILITIES AND PERFORM WORK IN A MANNER
WHICH WILL AVOID POSSIBLE DAMAGE. COORDINATE WITH UTILITIES
UNDERGROUND LOCATION CENTER AND OWNER FOR LOCATIONS OF EXISTING
UNDERGROUND UTILITIES, ETC. SERVICING OR ROUTED THROUGH THE SITE.
3.PROVIDE PROTECTION OF ALL PROPERTY, PERSONS, WORK IN PROGRESS,
STRUCTURES, UTILITIES, WALLS, WALKS, CURBS AND PAVED SURFACES FROM
DAMAGES INCURRED ARISING FROM THIS WORK. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PAY
FOR ANY SUCH DAMAGE AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE OWNER.
4.DURING CONSTRUCTION, KEEP PAVEMENTS, BUILDING CLEAN. PROTECT SITE
AND PROVIDE PROTECTIONADJACENT PROPERTIES FROM DAMAGE DUE TO
CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS, OPERATIONS BY OTHER CONTRACTORS/TRADES
AND TRESPASSERS. UNFINISHED AND COMPLETED WORK SHALL BE PROTECTED
FROM DAMAGE BY EROSION OR TRESPASSING, AND PROPER SAFEGUARDS
SHALL BE ERECTED TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC.
5.STAKING AND LAYOUT: IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY ARCHITECT IN WRITING OF ANY
VARIANCE BETWEEN PLANS AND ACTUAL SITE. ARCHITECT HAS THE RIGHT TO
ADJUST THE LOCATION OF ELEMENTS. VERIFY LAYOUT WITH ARCHITECT PRIOR
TO ANY INSTALLATION WORK.
6.VERIFY INSTALLATION CONDITIONS AS SATISFACTORY TO RECEIVE WORK. DO
NOT INSTALL ANY SITE ELEMENTS UNTIL ANY UNSATISFACTORY CONDITIONS
ARE CORRECTED. BEGINNING OF WORK CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF
CONDITIONS AS SATISFACTORY. WHEN CONDITIONS DETRIMENTAL TO PLANT
GROWTH/CONSTRUCTED ELEMENTS, ARE ENCOUNTERED SUCH AS RUBBLE FILL,
ADVERSE CONDITIONS, OR OBSTRUCTIONS, NOTIFY ARCHITECT.
1.PLANTING AREAS SHALL BE TILLED TO A DEPTH OF AT LEAST 18 INCHES.
2.TILL IN THREE NCHES OF COMPOST ACROSS ALL LANDSCAPE AREAS. MULCH IS
TO BE AWAY FROM WOODY STEMS AND CROWNS OF PERENNIAL PLANTS.
3.PLANTING PITS MUST BE ONLY THE DEPTH OF THE EXISTING ROOT BALL OR ELSE
THE BOTTOM OF THE PLANTING PITS MUST BE COMPACTED PRIOR TO PLANTING
TO INSURE THERE IS NO SETTLING OR AIR POCKETS.
4.ROOT BALLS OF POTTED AND B&B PLANTS MUST BE LOOSENED AND PRUNED AS
NECESSARY TO ENSURE THERE ARE NO ENCIRCLING ROOTS PRIOR TO PLANTING.
5.AT LEAST THE TOP HALF OF BURLAP AND ANY WIRE STRAPS ARE TO BE REMOVED
FROM B&B PLANTS PRIOR TO PLANTING.
6. FERTILIZE ALL INSTALLED PLANTS DURING BACKFILL OPERATIONS WITH 4-2-2 AGRO
TRANSPLANTER AS RECOMMENDED BY MANUFACTURER.
7.TREE PITS WITH TREE GRATES SHALL RECEIVE A 36" DEPTH OF TYPE D TOPSOIL.
8.CONTRACTOR SHALL BE FAMILIAR WITH LOCATIONS OF ALL ON-SITE UTILITIES PRIOR TO
COMMENCING ANY LANDSCAPE WORK.
9.FINE GRADE DURING PLANTING OPERATION TO MAINTAIN SURFACE DRAINAGE FLOW
DIRECTION REQUIREMENTS AS INDICATED ON GRADING PLANS.
10.AREAS NOT INDICATED FOR PAVING OR PLANTING SHALL RECEIVE 2" DEPTH OF MULCH.
11.ALL GROUNDCOVERS TO BE TRI-SPACED UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
12.WARRANTY PROVISION: THIS WARRANTY SHALL INCLUDE REPLACING AND PLANTING
