HomeMy WebLinkAboutAdd a Contact to Favorites & Issued PermitsCivic Access Self-Service Portal Website: CASSP Page 1 of 5 | Published : 12/11/2025 Add Contacts to Favorites & Issued Permits Published : 12/11/2025 Add frequently used contacts to your Contact Manager, also known as My Favorites list and you will not have to conduct a search to add them to an application when applying online. You must be logged in to the portal (Civic Access Self-Service Portal – CASSP) to add contacts to your Contact Manager. From the Home screen after signing in: Step 1: Select the Contact Manager from the drop down next to your name at the top right of the screen. Step 2: Search for the contact you wish to add to your favorites by entering the name of the company or person in the search box. Partial entry is available. However, if the search yields too many results you can select the Exact Match tick box to narrow the search. ADD CONTACTS TO FAVORITES & ISSUED PERMITS Page 2 of 5 | Published : 12/11/2025 Step 3: Tick the box next to the contact you wish to add to your Favorite Contacts and select the Add Selected button. (NOTE: This comes in handy when you have a particular contractor you use frequently or if you have a regularly used contact you want to add to a permit.) Step 4: To remove a contact from your Favorite Contacts, tick the box next to the contact you wish to remove and select Remove Selected. Now that you have the contact in your My Favorites. How is it used when applying for an application online? When you are at the contacts section of your application, select the blue tile that corresponds to what type of contact you are adding. ADD CONTACTS TO FAVORITES & ISSUED PERMITS Page 3 of 5 | Published : 12/11/2025 At the Add Contacts screen instead of searching for the contact, select the My Favorites button to see your list of Favorite contacts. Under the Action column, select Add next to the contact that you wish to add to the application. Also, how it can be used when you want to add a contact to an issued permit. (Note: Must be logged in to add or remove a contact from an application). From your dashboard, click on the Active tile. ADD CONTACTS TO FAVORITES & ISSUED PERMITS Page 4 of 5 | Published : 12/11/2025 On the My Work screen select the permit you wish to add the contact to by clicking on the permit number link. On the Permit Summary screen select the Contacts tab. On the Contacts screen click the Add Contact button. On the Add Contact screen select from the Add Contact As drop-down which type of contact you are adding and click the My Favorites button. (Note: If adding a contractor, the contractor must have a valid state certification and City of Renton business license.) ADD CONTACTS TO FAVORITES & ISSUED PERMITS Page 5 of 5 | Published : 12/11/2025 From your list of My Favorites click the Add button next to the contact you wish to add to the permit. To remove a contact from a permit, from the Contacts tab, click the remove button next to the contact you wish to remove from the permit. Questions?
