This is in an area the Duwamish Tribe considers culturally significant and has a high probability to have unknown archaeological deposits. If any archaeological work is performed, we request notification. An IDP should not be used in lieu of archaeological investigation. Cultural and archaeological resources are non-renewable and are best discovered prior to ground disturbance. In addition we strongly recommend only native plants be used for any proposed landscaping. Also we strongly encourage maintaining the stream buffer for Johns Creek as it appears parts of the property (extreme northeast section) are within 200 feet of the creek. Since the property is proximal to Lake Washington the Tribe also asks that fish and wildlife migration, mating and young rearing windows be observed during heavy construction.
