Per Neil & Tim they allowed him to continue operating because he claimed to be "grandfathered" in as a business in King County. This has always been a residential area & King County did not require business licenses. Mr. Wilson does not currently own the property he is operating from and I am researching through DOR what is licensed at the address. I will need all departments to help figure out exactly what is required to "fix" this problem. There is a Bonneville easement they are using. Also a stream to the north of the property and some wetlands showing on COR Maps. I've pulled all of the ariel views of the property to show what was and is currently happening. The statement "According to Donna Locker they can't get a game plan together for this because not enough people are complaining", is not correct. I did ask Laurie is she would be willing to testify in court and if there were other neighbors that would as well. We've gone forward on cases and then the requestor(s) will not testify so I wanted to make sure she would testify as she indicate that she is scared of Mr. Wilson. That being said it will require research and time to put a case together. Laurie has changed her mind in the past and asked that I not go any further with my case(s) at the time. I'm glad to see that she is willing to move forward. Dear Mayor Pavone, For two years my neighbor, Laurie Skagen, has been contacting Donna Locker with code compliance for our neighborhood. The residence at 17834 120th Ave SE Renton, WA 98058, parcel # 3323059025 are running a trucking company on the power lines. They bring in containers of construction debris and old cars and break them up. They've brought in thousands of square feet of material and buried it. They've blocked the stream that runs through the property. This has been going on for over ten years but we only have emails going back two years. From inside the house we can hear the big trucks backing up and the trailers being broken. Some days it's loads of windows being broken. This goes on all day almost every day. This is a residential area and is zoned as such. According to Donna Locker they can't get a game plan together for this because not enough people are complaining. She asked if Laurie would be willing to testify in court. We let Laurie handle this instead of muddying the water with everyone calling but now we're all getting involved. Bonneville power says they can't do anything as long as they are able to access the power lines. The fire department says there's nothing they can do.
