The City of Renton has approved the above referenced lot line adjustment and has forwarded the
final mylar to King County for recording. You may contact Ted Theden or Mary Trujillo of the King
County Recording Office at (206) 296-1842 for information regarding the County's recording
process, or for the recording number when the process is completed.
Please note the recording of the lot line adjustment map alone does not transfer ownership of
property. If necessary, prepare and record a deed transferring ownership of the portion of land
depicted in the lot line adjustment map. We recommend that the legal description for this
document be prepared by a surveyor. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure this document
is properly prepared and recorded with the County.
After the recording of the lot line adjustment is complete, you may apply for building permits for
the undeveloped parcel. Please visit the customer service counter on the 6th floor of City Hall for
application and process information. If you have any further questions regarding this lot line

The City has finished reviewing your proposed lot line adjustment and is now ready to approve
and send the final version for recording, subject to the following change:
1. Please include the address for lot B on the drawing—3275 Cedar Avenue South.
Once the above change has been made, submit the original signed mylar and a check for$15.15
made out to CD&L to me at the sixth floor counter of City Hall.
Please verify that the mylar has been signed by all owners of record and that the mylar has been
notarized with an ink stamp (not embossed). The ink stamp must be legible so that King
County will promptly record the lot line adjustment.

When I was about to purchase a lot years ago, we discovered the property
wouldn't perk, so the seller said he would sell the entire parcel because
he just wanted to be rid of it. Consequently I ended up with enough level
land for two building sites, only two because of the steep contour of
most of the land.
Due to an agreement with the company putting in sewers along the street, I
do have already the sewer connection installed up to the proposed residence.
I have purchased the small unbuildable triangle of land abutting my
southern boundary line. I plan to bring the 71„ot line northward, just south
of my present steep south driveway to my basement; the survey stakes were
installed at the time of the original survey for some reason.
The new house will be for me. . .my present house is much too big. I am being
forced to let this land go to weeds. . .I'm sure the neighbors are not too
happy about this. . .but I am a senior and it seems I don't have the time or
strength to keep both icy present lot and all the extra land under control.
Living there, in a smaller house, I would certainly be able to care for it
because I would be responsible for only one lot, one residence.
I understand you want to control urban sprawl and increase density in ex-
isting neighborhoods. Also, taxes on my new residence would be advantageous
to Renton.
