One easement was granted in 1965 and another in 2007. The required fees were received on October 28, 2016 and the release of easements were sent to the Department of Community and Economic Development(CED) for validation. CED validated the petitions on November 8, 2016. The easements are being released as they are no longer needed for the City utilities. The development approved and constructed on the site through CED rerouted the existing utilities and new easements were required to cover the new City utilities. Sameone will have to prepare a Committee report making a recommendation to approve or not approve the release of easement requests AND attend the Utilities Committee meeting to answer questions about the releases. If the recommendation is to approve, and Council does so, then I will send out another letter to RSD requesting the filing fees far the reiease of easements. Once the filing fees have been submitted we will send out the releases for recording. All of this is outlined in R1�1C 9-1.
