RE: Hyodo ADU Project

The purpose of this narrative is to address each of the following items as regards to the construction of
the proposed ADU on the above property:
A. Proposed construction dates:
Construction is proposed to begin within a couple of weeks of obtaining the necessary
Conditional Use and Building permits from the City of Renton and is scheduled to end
within 6 months of the begin date.
B. Hours and days of operation:
The work to be performed in construction of the ADU is scheduled to be done within
the hours of 7 am to no later than 7 pm, Monday thru Friday.
C. Proposed hauling/transportation routes:
The route to be used to access the location for all construction related purposes is as
follows...from I405 north or south bound use exit 5 and proceed east on NE Sunset
Blvd., turn left onto Edmonds Ave NE and then turn right onto NE 23rd St. To depart
the site vehicles will head west on NE 23rd St towards Edmonds Ave NE, then turn left
and proceed to NE Sunset Blvd, upon reaching Sunset a right turn will be made to then
proceed to either the north or south on ramps of I405.
D. Measures to be implemented to minimize dust, traffic and transportation impacts, erosion, mud,
noise, and other noxious characteristics:
All standard erosion control methods will be utilized to minimize erosion, dust, and
mud. All other typical construction noises such as nail guns, hammering and such will be
kept to the hours of 7 am to 7 pm.
E. Special hours proposed for construction or hauling:
All work is proposed for the hours of 7 am to 7 pm, Monday thru Friday. There is the
potential for occasional work to be performed on Saturdays, however, only if
necessary and unavoidable.
F. Preliminary Traffic Control Plan:
All construction traffic to the site will be directed to follow the route indicated above
in item C.
