Pending building permit issuance, construction is planned to begin Q4 2022 and complete Q1 2024.
Standard working hours for the project will be 7PM-4PM, Monday- Friday.
Materials being hauled to the project site will enter Renton on Northbound SR167, exit SR167 and
head West on SW43rd Street, then turn North on Oaksdale Ave SW, and make a left turn into the
project site. Materials leaving the project site will head South on Oaksdale Ave SW, turn West on SW
41st Street, and merge on to SR167 Heading South to Puyallup.
Temporary controls including wheel wash stations, clean crushed rock construction entrances, street
sweeping, and existing impervious surface parking lots for loading will be utilized to minimize dust
and maintain clean roadways. To minimize erosion on site, all work will be performed in accordance
with the approved TESC plans and will utilize a variety of BMPs to protect our waterways and health
of our soils.
Given the location of the project and the absence of any dwelling units in the proximity, to minimize
the projects impact on local traffic, we propose to perform all major trucking activities during non-
peak traffic hours(7PM-3AM). Please see the attached draft traffic control plan, in addition to this, we
may propose using a lane closure of the Westernmost South bound lane along the project site, which
will minimize potential accidents as trucks would be entering the ROW in a closed lane.
