The scope of the project has been reduced to sleeving two moorage piles as shown on attached plans. Work to be done from work barge with an estimated repair/construction cost is $5,775 (see attached cost estimate from Lakeside Construction. Construction). Pile work is anticipated upon completion of permitting (shoreline exemption and Hydraulic Project Approval). The proposal is simply to reinforce/strengthen the existing piles, restoring them to their original condition, and there will be no change to the size, shape, location, configuration of the dock, etc. We request a formal statement of exemption from the City confirming that the work is exempt from the shoreline substantial development requirement pursuant to WAC 173-27-040(2)(b).
