Thank you for the opportunity to review the upcoming project at 1901 Oakesdale
Ave SW. Metro Transit requests the following from the project contractor or
manager: • 5-BUSINESS DAYS’ NOTICE needed for bus stop closures or relocations
• 10-BUSINESS DAYS’ NOTICE needed for road closures requiring buses to be
detoured • 3 WEEKS’ NOTICE for requesting removal of transit-owned facilities’
structures (shelters/kiosks/signposts/waste receptacles) We also request the
following information: 1.The approved TCP for the project’s scheduled day(s) of
activity (please attach or snip) 2.Location of the project 3. Locations of any bus
stops that you would like closed or relocated and whether they need to be closed
around-the-clock or only during the specified work hours (also please try to
include the 4 or 5-digit identification number associated with the bus stop(s)) 4.
Name of street shut down to traffic, if applicable, by any hard closure requiring a
detour; also provide limits of the closure by identifying cross streets and specify
which direction(s) of travel are affected (specify if closure is around-the-clock or
only during work hours) 5. Name and cell phone of the primary onsite contact 6.
Start and end dates of the activity (work dates – additionally, please specify if
work includes or doesn’t include weekends if dates go past one weekend or more)
7. Daily start and end time of the activity (work hours) 8. Nature of work
9.Company name Once we receive this information, we will plan for any King
County Metro transit service impact. The following is the link to King County
