Thank you for the opportunity to comment. My concern is the NGPA at the mouth of Lake
Washington from May Creek. The Barbee Mill neighborhood has posted signs, no longer providing
park like grounds, and still have hundreds of people access the lake at this point with dogs off
leash and drinking parties after dark on this Native Growth area. If Coulon or Kennydale Park are
closed due to unsafe water bacteria, there are crowds of people lining their cars on the streets
and filling the water area that is designated Native Growth. The City of Renton is not paying for
trash pick up or clean-up of the area. It is of great concern. The adding of this number of homes
and people who continue to access the Lake Washington from this location will put undue stress
on the neighbors that border this area and maintain it. We ask this concern to be addressed and a
plan put in place to protect the Native Growth Area. Thank you.
