Hi Jill:
We wanted to provide the City with supplemental information in response to SEPA comment letters.
Please let us know if the ERC needs any additional information to inform its review.
King County Metro comment re bus stop closures
Sounders FC project manager responded directly to King County Metro with the following statement:
No closures of Oaksdale Ave SW or relocation of any Metro Transit stations are currently
anticipated for this project. There will be truck traffic in and out of the project site during certain
phases of the project for which all required protocols will be followed. If there are any changes to
this approach, our team will provide updates as needed.
Ecology comment re excavation and dewatering
CPL provided Unico with the following information:
Maximum excavation depth is currently proposed to be 13.95 ft.
Groundwater may need to be withdrawn to facilitate construction of underground utilities and
floodplain mitigation facilities. No permanent dewatering is proposed. Groundwater withdrawals
and treated stormwater runoff will be discharged to the existing detention pond B located on the
western portion of the site. All water being discharged during construction will be confirmed and
treated for sediment and turbidity prior to discharging as necessary. All temporary dewatering
will be consistent with City of Renton and State of Washington requirements.
SPU comment re water line in parcel south of the Project Site
Sounders FC are working directly with SPU to respond to this comment.
