RESOLUTION2022-04—ATTACHMENTASKHHP2023WORKPLANPURPOSEEstablisha2023SKHHPworkplanandbudgetthatisshapedbymemberjurisdictions,isconsistentwiththeSKHHPInterlocalAgreement,andfurthersSKHHP’smission.BACKGROUNDEstablishedbyinterlocalagreement,SKHHPjurisdictionsworktogetherandshareresourcestoincreasetheavailableoptionsforSouthKingCountyresidentstoaccessaffordablehousingandpreservetheexistingaffordablehousingstock.The2023SKHHPworkplan,developedinconsultationwiththestaffworkgroupandAdvisoryBoard,buildsonworkdoneinpreviousyearstoestablishahousingcapitaltundthroughpooledpublicresources,increasephilanthropicandcorporateinvestmentthroughthecreationofaSKHHPfundraisingbranch,andestablishacommunityadvisoryboardtohelpgrounddecision-makingincommunityneedsandinterests.Theworkplanisorganizedintofivegoalsandcorrespondingactionitems.Eachactionisidentifiedbypriorityasfollows:•Critical—necessarytocarryouttheInterlocalAgreementorfullyimplementpreviouswork•Important—prioritybutnotnecessaryPrioritizationofactionitemsacknowledgesthatlullexecutionoftheworkplanrequiresSKHHPtobeatfullstaffcapacityandallowsforflexibilityandadaptabilitybasedonemergingissuesandopportunities.QuarterlybudgetandprogressreportsonthestatusoftheworkplanelementswillbesubmittedtotheSKHHPExecutiveBoardandthelegislativebodyofeachmemberjurisdictionasfollows:Quarter1:MayIQuarter2:August(Quarter3:NovemberIQuarter4:FebruaryInaccordancewiththeInterlocalAgreement,the2023SKHHPWorkPlanwillbeapprovedbythelegislativebodyofeachmemberjurisdictionandtheSKHHPExecutiveBoard.SKHHPMISSIONSouthKingCountyjurisdictionsworkingtogetherandsharingresourcestocreateacoordinated,comprehensive,andequitableapproachtoincreasinghousingstability,reducinghomelessness,andproducingandpreservingqualityaffordablehousinginSouthKingCounty.OBJECTIVES•HousingPolicyandPlanning.Sharetechnicalinformationandresourcestopromotesoundhousingpolicy•AffordableHousingInvestment.CoordinatepublicresourcestoattractgreaterprivateandpublicinvestmentforaffordablehousinginSouthKingCounty•Outreach,Education,andAdvocacy.ProvideaunifiedvoicetoadvocateforSouthKingCountyneedsatalocal,regional,andstatelevelsResolutionNo.2022-04Rev.2019August19,2022Page3017
