Utilities Committee Chair Alberson presented a report
concurring in the staff recommendation to approve the
2023 and 2024 Solid Waste Utility revenue requirements
and the associated ordinance allowing the City to charge
the 2023 rates beginning February 1, 2023, and the 2024
rates beginning January 1, 2024.

9.a) Resolution: Resolution No. 4486: A resolution was read authorizing
the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an interlocal
agreement with City of Newcastle, a Washington
Municipal Corporation for the purpose of sharing the cost
of a stormwater project that extends across both cities
and improves drainage through 3336 Edmonds Ave NE, a
Renton property.
