The project would combine the two (2) spaces into a single approximately 5,692 square foot space. The spaces were previously separate and housed an approximately 3,085 square foot restauarnt (829 G) and an approximately 2,607 square foot salon (829 F). No exterior modifications to the building are proposed. Parking is not proposed to be amended. According to COR Maps, the site is located within a High Seismic Hazard Area. No vegetation or trees are proposed for removal. PROJECT LOCATION: 829 F & 829 G, N 10th St (APN 0886600040) LEAD AGENCY: City of Renton Environmental Review Committee Department of Community & Economic Development The City of Renton Environmental Review Committee has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This Determination of Non-Significance is issued under WAC 197-11-340. Because other agencies of jurisdiction may be involved, the lead agency will not act on this proposal for fourteen (14) days. Appeals of the environmental determination must be filed in writing on or before 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2023. Due to the ongoing state of emergency enacted by Governor’s Proclamation 20-28.14 (and as amended), the City Clerk’s Office is working remotely. For that reason, appeals must be submitted electronically to the City Clerk at cityclerk@rentonwa.gov or delivered to City Hall 1st floor Lobby Hub Monday through Friday. The appeal fee, normally due at the time an appeal is submitted, will be collected at a future date if your appeal is submitted electronically. Appeal s to the Hearing Examiner are governed by RMC 4-8-110 and additional information regarding the appeal process may be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office, cityclerk@rentonwa.gov.
