This building will require approximately 14 yards of gravel fill to level the construction site and allow for a 4 inch concrete slab to be poured. The space that is being used for this site currently is occupied by a small garden shed which will be removed. The construction will require no trees to be removed. To access the work site, a path from the street to the work site shall serve as temporary construction access, partially including the existing driveway, with the rest of the access comprising of the existing grass and wood chip yard. a. Current use of the site and any existing improvements; Site is currently the backyard of a single-family home, with a small garden shed. d. Special site features (i.e., wetlands, water bodies, steep slopes); N/A e. Statement addressing soil type and drainage conditions; Soil is predominantly gravel and sandy loam, with the majority of the backyard area serving as permeable surface for drainage. f. Proposed use of the property and scope of the proposed development (i.e., height, square footage, lot coverage, parking, access, etc.) - Construction of a Single story (10’ tall walls with 4/12 rise/run roof) 672 sq ft workshop for woodworking – Steel pole building construction with 4” slab floor. Doors will be a French Door. - During construction, temporary access will be through the yard. - No permanent access to be constructed - No new parking. g. Proposed off-site improvements (i.e., installation of sidewalks, fire hydrants, sewer main, etc.); N/A h.
