SUBJECT: "On Hold" Notice
Lang Back Yard Deck Variances, LUA22-000145, ECF, VAR-A, RUV
Dear Ms Lang Crane,
The Planning Division of the City of Renton accepted the above master application for review on July 21, 2022.
During our review, staff has determined that additional information is necessary in order to proceed further.
The following information will need to be submitted before November 10, 2022 so that we may continue the
review of the above subject application:
The geotechnical information submitted does not specify the geological hazards found on the
project site relative to the City’s Critical Area Regulations (RMC4-3-050). Please provide a memo from a
licensed geotechnical engineer that identifies the critical areas on site and their boundaries. The memo
shall also:
o Describe and depict all natural and man-made features within one hundred fifty feet (150') of
the site boundary.
o Identify any areas that have previously been disturbed or degraded by human activity or
natural processes.
o Provide a site evaluation review of available information regarding the site.
o Provide a slope stability analysis.
At this time, your project has been placed “on hold” pending receipt of the requested information. The maximum
time for resubmittal shall be within 90 days of this notice. Please contact me at (425) 430-7246 if you have any
