AGREEMENT

THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT is between the Washington State Department of
Revenue (“Department”) and the City of Renton (“City”) and is effective as of the date set forth below.
WHEREAS, the Department and the City previously entered into a Data Sharing Agreement
(Agreement) for establishing the terms under which the Department and the City may voluntarily share
information of the types identified in the Agreement; and;
WHEREAS, the Department and City wish to amend the Agreement pursuant to Section I (Parties and
Contact Information), Section XIX (Not a Service Agreement), Section XX (Term and Termination) and
in accordance with Section XXII(G) (Amendments);
The Parties agree the Agreement is amended as follows:
1. Section I entitled Parties and Contact Information:

2. Section XIX entitled Not a Service Agreement includes the additional sentence: “Requested data
is dependent on the Department’s resource availability.”
3. Section XX entitled Term and Termination is hereby extended to include an additional one (1)
year term pursuant to the Agreement. The expiration date of the Agreement is now October 20,
2023.
4. This Amendment will be effective October 21, 2022 (“Effective Date”).
5. All capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein have the meaning ascribed to them in the
Agreement.
6. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
The parties signing below warrant that they have read and understand this Amendment and have
authority to execute this Amendment. This Amendment will be binding on the Department only upon
signature by the Department.
