WEATHER SHELTER OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

THIS AMENDMENT, effective as of November 28, 2022, is by and between the City of Renton
(the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Renton Ecumenical Association of
Churches (REACH) (“Consultant”), The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this
Amendment as the “Parties.”
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-22-361, dated
November 3, 2022 to provide Overnight Severe (Cold) Weather Shelter Operational Support
(referred to herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to update the terms of hotel
accommodations payments.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-22-361 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work: Scope of Work, in Exhibit A is amended to revise the payment of hotel
costs to be paid directly by the Consultant to the hotel, rather than by the City. The
Consultant may include those costs in billings to the City in an amount not to exceed
$5,000.
2. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation and Exhibit B - Budget, is amended so the
maximum amount payable to Consultant is increased by $5,000, from $12,000 to not to
exceed $17,000. The additional amount is for hotel stays/voucher costs to be paid
directly by Consultant to hotels. The revised estimatedcontract costsare specified below:

Personnel Costs - REACH is to be reimbursed at an
hourly rate of $25 per staff person. (NTE 400 hours
x $25/hr)

Food/snacks/beverages - (NTE $100 per night)$1,600
Laundry – Wash/Dry blankets $ 400
Hotel Stays/Vouchers, if necessary, will be paid
directly by REACH to Hotel.

3.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
