Cedar River Revetment Repair
Dear Jennifer Cisneros,
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the project Cedar River Revetment Repair at APN
2123059019, adjacent to SR 169 and APN 1623059033 on the right bank of the Cedar River for
geotechnical borings and fiber optic line potholing. Based on the information provided and our
understanding of the project and its APE, we have no substantive cultural resources comments to offer
at this time. The DAAP WISAARD predictive model indicates that an archaeological survey is highly
advised with a very high risk of encountering cultural resources. The Duwamish Tribe would request that
an IDP (inadvertent discovery plan) be put in place when performing the borings and potholing if
excavation goes beneath fill and/or the road prism.
However, please be aware that if the scope of the project or the parameters for defining the APE
change, we reserve the right to modify our current position.
