The Construction Inspector has noted that the project is not currently meeting the minimum requirements outlined in the Surface Water Design Manual for erosion control during the Wet
Season, which began October 1st. Please reference the attached Wet Season Letter sent out on 9/15/17 as well as Appendix D of the Surface Water Design Manual for additional Erosion
and Sediment Control Measures to be implemented during the Wet Season. Take special note to page D-106 for Wet Season Special Provisions for any projects with exposed soils during the
wet season (October 1 to April 30).
You are required to ensure that the project site is meeting the minimum requirements of the Manual. Failure to meet the minimum erosion control requirements will result in a Stop Work
Order being issued to the project site. Your urgent attention to this matter is appreciated.
