THE STRUCTURAL DESIGN, MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS AND CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS AND SHALL BE IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE PROVISIONS OF THE EDITION OF THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE (UB.C.) PUBLISHED BY 1.C.B.O. IN CONJUNCTION WITH STATE AND LOCAL BUILDING CODES AND ORDINANCES. 2. ALL CONSTRUCTION SHALL COMPLY WITH WASHINGTON STATE AMENDMENTS TO THE !397 UNIFORM BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 51-30 WAC. (WASHINGTON STATE ACCESSIBILITY CODE). 3. PLUMBING WORK SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LATEST EDITION OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE (UP.C.) PUBLISHED BY ICBO. 4. ELECTRICAL WORK SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LATEST EDITION OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE (NEC) PUBLISHED BY THE NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATES (NEPA). 5. NO REFUSE SHALL BE LEFT ON THE JOB SITE WITHOUT SPECIFIC PRIOR AUTHORIZATION BY THE CONTRACTOR IN THIS EVENT, THE SUB- CONTRACTOR SHALL PLACE REFUSE MATERIAL AT THE PROPER DISPOSAL LOCATION AS DIRECTED BY THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR THE JOB SITE SHALL BE CLEANED DAILY AND DEBRIS SHALL BE PLACED IN CONTAINERS, PROVIDED BY THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR, AT THE END OF EACH WORK DAY. 1. COORDINATION AND SCHEDULING OF PERMITS, FEES AND INSPECTIONS FOR UTILITIES WORK WHICH SHALL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO BOILER, FUEL SOURCE, WATER, NATURAL GAS, ECT. SHALL BE THE GENERAL CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TRENCHES, CONDUITS, FILL AND LABOR AS REQUIRED NOT SUPPLIED BY THE UTILITY COMPANIES. THE SITE PLAN SHALL BE USED AS A GENERAL GUIDE FOR THE LOCATION OF UTILITY SERVICES AND APPURTENANCES. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO LOCATE EXISTING UTILITIES, WHETHER THEY ARE SHOWN ON THE PLAN OR NOT AND PROTECT THEM FROM DAMAGE THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BEAR ALL EXPENSES FOR THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF UTILITIES THEIR APPURTENENCES OR OTHER PROPERTY THAT MAY BECOME DAMAGED BY PERSONS UNDER CONTRACT, EMPLOY OR SUPERVISION OF THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR WHILE EXCUTING THIS CONTRACT. ACTUAL PLACEMENT OF ALL NEW UTILITIES SERVICES SHALL BE AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE UTILITY COMPANY. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL CONFORM TO ALL REQUIREMENTS OF THE UTILITY COMPANIES. 18. ALL PERMITS SHALL BE OBTAINED BY GENERAL CONTRACTOR UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 19. PERMITS PERTAINING TO SUBCONTRACTS SECTIONS OF THIS PROJECT SHALL BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK IN THAT AREA BY THE SUBCONTRACTOR ENGAGED IN THE PRACTICE OF HIS TRADE IN THE RESPECTIVE AREA OF WORK WITHIN THE SPECIFICATIONS AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SCHEDULING INSPECTIONS AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. 22. UPON SATISFACTORY COMPLETION AND FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF WORK BY THE GOVERNING REGULATORY AGENCY AND THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR , THE SUB- CONTRACTOR SHALL CONVEY TO THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR ALL PERMITS AND RELEVANT PERMIT DOCUMENTATION. 2). IF REQUIRED BY THE OWNER, THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE BONDED, INSURED AND LICENSED BY THE STATE OF WASHINGTON AS PRESCRIBED BY STATE LAW. FUTHER, THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE THE PROJECT OWNER WITH PROOF OF CURRENT WASHINGTON STATE LABOR AND INDUSTRIES COVERAGE FOR EVERY EMPLOYEE WORKING ON THIS PROJECT. 22. ALL SUB-CONTRACTORS SHALL PROVIDE A COPY OF CURRENT STATE REGISTRATION AND PROOF OF CURRENT LIABILITY COVERAGE AND BONDING, IF REQUIRED, UNDER CURRENT STATE LAW. FUTHER, SUB-CONTRACTORS SHALL PROVIDE PROOF OF STATE OF WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND INDUSTRIES COVERAGE FOR EVERY EMPLOYEE WORKING ON THIS PROJECT. 23. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SCHEDULING AND COORDINATING THE WORK OF ALL TRADES AND MATERIAL REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT. 24. THE APPROVED SET OF PLANS SHALL BE STORED IN A PLAN BOx AND SHALL NOT BE USED BY ANY WORKMEN. ALL CONSTRUCTION SETS OF DRAWINGS SHALL REFLECT THE SAME INFORMATION AS WELL AS ALL REVISIONS, ADDENDA AND CHANGE ODERS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ALSO MAINTAIN IN GOOD CONDITION ONE SET OF COMPLETE PLANS WITH ALL REVISIONS, ADDENDA AND CHANGE ORDERS ON THE PREMISES AT ALL TIMES AND WHICH SHALL BE UNDER THE CARE OF THE JOB SUPERINTENDENT. 25. ALL OPERATIONS CONDUCTED ON THE PREMISES SHALL NOT BE OBJECTIONABLE BEYOND THE PROPERTY BOUNDARY LINES BY REASON OF NOISE, STEAM, ODOR, FUMES, GASES, SMOKE, VIBRATION, HAZARD OF OTHER CAUSES. IN ADDITION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MINIMIZE DISRUPTIONS OF ADJACENT TENANTS DUE TO NOISE, ODOR, CORRIDOR FUMES OR VIBRATION. ALL COMMON LOBBY AND CORRIDOR SPACE SHALL BE KEPT CLEAR OF DUST, DEBRIS AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AT ALL TIMES. 26. ALL WORK SHALL BE APPLIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S LATEST RECOMMENDATIONS OR WRITTEN DIRECTIONS. 27. WHERE DEVICES OR ITEMS OR PARTS THEREOF ARE REFERRED TO IN SINGULAR, IT IS INTENDED THAT SUCH SHALL APPLY TO AS MANY SUCH DEVICES, ITEMS OR PARTS AS ARE REQUIRED TO PROPERLY COMPLETE THE WORK. 28. ALL WORK SHALL BE GUARANTEED FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR AFTER COMPLETION, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED AND SHALL BE SO STATED IN CONTRACTOR'S WRITTEN PROPOSAL AND AGREEMENT.
