Overarching Focus: To agree on a set of short-term priorities
that can, given our capacity, be acted upon in the next 1-2
years.

Segment Focus Aims
Welcome & Check-In Agenda Review
– Participants will regroup to commence Day 2 of the retreat
Renton 2033: What do we want to see in place
in Renton, ten years from now, as a result of
our work?
– Framed within the structure of the business plan, participants will
create a robust, practical, and shared vision for the future of
Renton.
Review of the Business Plan Goal Areas
● Safe, Healthy, And Vibrant Community
● Economic Vitality
● Planned Growth And Environmental
Sustainability
● Inclusive, Informed And Hate-Free City
● High Quality Customer Service With
Measurable Outcomes
– Participants will identify accomplishments, discuss issues and
concerns, and develop broad success indicators in each area of
the plan that will guide staff in the work ahea d.
Identifying Criteria for Prioritization
– Participants will create high-level shared criteria that will help
staff in developing implementation plans and aligning future work.
Regional Boards & Committees
– Council President will advise about future review.
Close
– Participants will reflect on their work and review accomplishments
of the retreat; provide feedback to the facilitator.
