To whom it may concern, My wife and I have lived in Kennydale forover seven years and absolutely love this neighborhood. As housingneeds change along with the neighborhood, we see a lot of infilldevelopment and appreciate the new vibrant feel. I know a few yearsback there was a change to the zoning code to protect a portion of ourneighborhood from some of the super large homes to be build inportions of lower Kennydale. Unfortunately, we feel this has hurt alot of our neighbors as the requirements have hindered families fromaccomplishing their housing goals. There are so many small homesthat need to be improved, added on or rebuilt to accommodategrowing families. The previous zoning code allowed for this to takeplace and to see homes one street be accepted and the next street overnot to, seems unfair. I know that each property is very specific andmay require flexibility, however, the homeowner should be allowedto go through the process and get a reasonable response that otherneighbors see repeatedly. We live just across from one of theseexceptions all our neighbors approved this to take place. We bothlove seeing the neighborhood better and believe the majority of ourneighbors feel the same way.
