Hi Paul,
Yes, please consider items 35 and 36 waived per Scott’s 5/18 email.
Public information signs are required for all Type II and Type III applications (i.e. SEPA and Site Plan Review). The sign will
need to be installed prior to taking in the land use application.
Thank you,

Importance: High
Scott,
Understood & thank you.
Alex,
For our purposes of submittal, do we just consider items #35 & #36 waived? (see below)
Is there any type of explanation required for this?

Hey Paul,
After further discussion with our engineering team we believe that this work would meet the definition of maintenance
work and will not require a drainage control plan or drainage report for this project. Please let me know if you have any
additional questions!
Thanks,

Scott,
Based on your calculations, even if we deleted scope to reduce the ‘impervious’ surface to under 2,000 square feet, it
looks like we would still be required to do a targeted drainage review.
Is this correct?
Question:
Do you have a local civil engineer that you recommend for us to hire for the Drainage Review report?
o Someone who has a lot of experience with your department?
Once we contact them, are you available to have a screen sharing meeting regarding the specific requirements
of the drainage report?
We understand that the boilerplate answer is ‘demonstrate the project complies with nine core & six special
requirements in Sections 1.2 & 1.3’…… but with our very limited scope & extremely tight construction schedule, I want to
double check that we are taking the correct measures that will satisfy your department.
The existing sidewalk is in very bad shape, so the bulk of this scope is simply maintenance for tripping/safety.
Honestly, we are just trying to make your team happy.
Any suggestions of how this should be handled differently?
Alex,
Can a portion of this master application/overall review be submitted and reviewed while we hire the 3rd party engineer?
Brainstorming ideas to see what we can do to speed up the process and make everyone happy.
