Businesses like Etsy where a person can operate a business in their home with no impact to their neighborhood were not in existence. Staff is proposing amendments to allow for such home occupations, to provide a clear land use permit process for home occupations, and to provide clarity regarding revocation of home occupation business licenses when violations take place.
