NARRATIVE
I arrived at Joann Fabric parking lot , located at 2823 Sunset Blvd NE, around 11:30 am and parked my Lexus suv in one of
the parking spots nearest to the store . Both parking spots to the left and right of me were empty when I arrived. I went into
Joann fabric store looking for a table cloth textile and was in the store for approximately half an hour. When I approached my
drivers door I noticed damage that was not present before to my lower fender between the wheel gap and the door. It looked
like a dark colored car had scraped and dented my fender and then driven off since there was no note or any other motorist or
witness that came forward to give me an account of what happened. I went into Joann to inquire if they had CCTV with
footage of what could have transpired in the parking lot. They did not have a CCTV in the parking lot but they did have a
camera in the front lobby of store and from the look of their monitor my car was visible from it. The clerk at store took my
information and the store manager was going to attempt and see if the IT department could find any useful footage that may
identify the hit and run driver.
