Project Description: The City is developing prezoning pursuant to RCS35A.14.330 for the 9.46-
acre Tydico Site. The prezoning would be for the R-8 zone which is consistent with the Residential
Single Family land use designation shown for this site on the City's Comprehensive Plan Land use
map. Such zoning would be applied at the time the subject site is annexed into the City. The City is
anticipating that a special election for this annexation will be held in April, 2003. The existing use
of much of the 9.26-acre site as a storage yard for heavy construction equipment would likely
cease pending the site's redevelopment for single-family detached housing.
