THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
AESI arrived on site at 11:300am at the request of the contractor to perform compaction tests on the electrical trench
backfill. When we arrived on site, we met with representatives with Cornerstone. We could not find the sub-contractor for
the trench backfill.
Electrical Trench Backfill:
Upon arrival, the northern portion of the trench was already backfilled, meanwhile the southern one was only excavated 2
feet deep below ground level and. Due to rain, the open trench was collecting water and being filled with it. We performed
3 tests and collected a sample to run a Modified Proctor. All compaction tests met the specification requirements of at least
95% compaction. The test results and locations are shown in Table 1 and Figure 1.
