THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
AESI arrived on site at 10:30am at the request of the contractor to perform compaction tests on the electrical trench backfill.
When we arrived on site, we met Jason for the trench backfill.
Electrical Trench Backfill:
Upon arrival, the contractor was working on some patches along the electrical trench that needed to be backfilled. They
informed us that the trench will be mostly below a sidewalk. We performed 10 compaction tests. 8 compaction tests met
the specification requirement of at least 95% compaction and 2 compaction tests did not meet the specification
requirement. The two failing tests were on the southern access road. The contractor informed us that later in the day they
compact again the area identified. The results and locations are shown in Table 1 and Figure 1.
