THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
AESI arrived on site at 11:00am at the request of the contractor to observe the curb&gutter and sidewalk subgrade. When
we arrived on site, we met Jerry with Continental Dirt Contractors.
Curb&Gutter and Sidewalk Subgrade:
Upon arrival, the contractor was grading the sidewalk on site. We observed sidewalk subgrade visually and with a ½
inch diameter steel T-probe. Hand probe penetration averaged approximately 2 inches and appeared firm and
unyielding. In our opinion the subgrade is suitable for placing concrete. The contractor should remove any future
significant standing water or disturbed surface soils if observed, before the pour.
